Tried to use an existing MySQL-Server running on a separate machine in my environment. So I can run several LMS-versions as VBOX without rescanning.
I entered the following in server.prefs:
dbhighmem: 0
dbtype: MySQL
dbusername: slimserver
dbpassword: 'password'
dbsource: dbi:mysql:hostname=192.168.32.1;port=3306;database=slimserver
Connection does work, but it misses some schemas.
